List Subjects Offered
I have a master schedule and need a unique list of all subjects being taught this semester.
=UNIQUE(A2:A10) How it works: The UNIQUE function efficiently scans the specified range (A2:A10 in this case), which contains all the subject names from your master schedule. It then returns an array containing only the distinct values, effectively filtering out any duplicate subject entries. This provides a clean, concise list of all subjects offered without requiring manual sorting or removal of duplicates, saving significant time and ensuring accuracy for curriculum planning.

Step-by-Step Guide
Open your master schedule spreadsheet in Excel.
Identify the column that contains the names of all subjects (e.g., Column A).
Select an empty cell where you want the unique list of subjects to appear (e.g., C2).
Type the formula `=UNIQUE(A2:A10)` into the selected cell. Adjust the range `A2:A10` to match the actual range of your subject data, excluding the header.
Press Enter. Excel will automatically spill the unique list of subjects into the cells below.
