Create SEO Meta Titles
As a WooCommerce Admin, I need to efficiently generate SEO-friendly meta titles for hundreds of products. This involves combining the 'Product Name', 'Brand', 'Category', and 'Store Name' into a single, well-formatted string for each product to improve search engine visibility and click-through rates.
=CONCATENATE(A2," | ",B2," | ",C2," | ",D2) How it works: The CONCATENATE function allows you to join several text strings or cell values into one cohesive string. In this scenario, it's used to dynamically build SEO meta titles by combining the product's name (A2), brand (B2), category (C2), and store name (D2), separated by pipes (' | '). This ensures consistency across all product listings and saves significant manual effort, making your product listings more appealing to search engines and users.
Data Setup
| Product Name | Brand | Category | Store Name |
|---|---|---|---|
| Organic Coffee Beans | Bean Bliss | Beverages | My Coffee Shop |
| Stainless Steel Mug | Eco Gear | Kitchenware | My Coffee Shop |
| Artisan Chocolate Bar | Sweet Delights | Snacks | My Coffee Shop |
Step-by-Step Guide
Open your product data spreadsheet in Excel.
Add a new column for 'SEO Meta Title' (e.g., Column E) next to your existing data.
In the first cell of the new column (E2), enter the formula: `=CONCATENATE(A2," | ",B2," | ",C2," | ",D2)`
Press Enter to see the generated meta title for the first product.
Drag the fill handle (the small green square at the bottom-right corner of cell E2) down to apply the formula to all other product rows, automatically generating unique SEO titles.
