COUNTIFS / Crypto Portfolio Manager

Count Profitable Trades

I need to count trades where 'Coin' is 'SOL' and 'ROI %' is greater than 0.

formula.xlsx
=COUNTIFS(A2:A8,"SOL",B2:B8,">0")

How it works: The COUNTIFS function is used to count cells that meet multiple criteria. In this scenario, it counts rows where the value in the 'Coin' column (A2:A8) is exactly 'SOL' AND the value in the 'ROI %' column (B2:B8) is strictly greater than 0. This effectively filters and counts only the profitable trades for the Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency.

Data Setup

Coin ROI %
SOL 0.15
ETH 0.05
SOL -0.02
ADA 0.10
SOL 0.08
BTC -0.01
SOL 0.20

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Open your Excel spreadsheet containing your trade data.

2

Identify the column containing the 'Coin' names (e.g., Column A).

3

Identify the column containing the 'ROI %' values (e.g., Column B).

4

In an empty cell, enter the COUNTIFS formula: `=COUNTIFS(A2:A8,"SOL",B2:B8,">0")`

5

Press Enter to get the total count of profitable SOL trades.
