Count Profitable Trades
I need to count trades where 'Coin' is 'SOL' and 'ROI %' is greater than 0.
=COUNTIFS(A2:A8,"SOL",B2:B8,">0") How it works: The COUNTIFS function is used to count cells that meet multiple criteria. In this scenario, it counts rows where the value in the 'Coin' column (A2:A8) is exactly 'SOL' AND the value in the 'ROI %' column (B2:B8) is strictly greater than 0. This effectively filters and counts only the profitable trades for the Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency.
Data Setup
| Coin | ROI % |
|---|---|
| SOL | 0.15 |
| ETH | 0.05 |
| SOL | -0.02 |
| ADA | 0.10 |
| SOL | 0.08 |
| BTC | -0.01 |
| SOL | 0.20 |
Step-by-Step Guide
Open your Excel spreadsheet containing your trade data.
Identify the column containing the 'Coin' names (e.g., Column A).
Identify the column containing the 'ROI %' values (e.g., Column B).
In an empty cell, enter the COUNTIFS formula: `=COUNTIFS(A2:A8,"SOL",B2:B8,">0")`
Press Enter to get the total count of profitable SOL trades.
