Check Free Shipping Eligibility
A Warehouse Manager needs to quickly identify which orders qualify for free shipping. The company policy states that orders with an 'Order Total' of $50 or more are eligible for free shipping. They want to add a column to their order manifest that clearly indicates 'Eligible' or 'Not Eligible'.
=IF(B2>=50,"Eligible","Not Eligible") How it works: The IF function checks a condition. If the 'Order Total' in cell B2 is greater than or equal to 50, the condition is TRUE, and the formula returns 'Eligible'. If the 'Order Total' is less than 50, the condition is FALSE, and the formula returns 'Not Eligible'. This allows the Warehouse Manager to quickly sort or filter orders based on their shipping eligibility.
Data Setup
| Order ID | Order Total | Free Shipping Eligibility |
|---|---|---|
| 1001 | 45 | Not Eligible |
| 1002 | 75 | Eligible |
| 1003 | 50 | Eligible |
| 1004 | 30 | Not Eligible |
| 1005 | 120 | Eligible |
