Check Floor Price Movement
An NFT Flipper needs to quickly identify if the 'Current Floor' price of an NFT collection has dropped below their 'Entry Price'. This helps in making informed decisions about whether to hold, sell, or potentially 'ape in' on a dip.
=IF(C2<B2, "Below Entry Price", "At or Above Entry Price") How it works: The IF function evaluates a logical test: `C2<B2`. If the 'Current Floor' (C2) is indeed less than the 'Entry Price' (B2), the formula returns 'Below Entry Price', indicating a potential loss or a buying opportunity. If the condition is false (meaning C2 is equal to or greater than B2), it returns 'At or Above Entry Price', suggesting the investment is holding value or in profit.
Data Setup
| Collection | Entry Price (ETH) | Current Floor (ETH) |
|---|---|---|
| Bored Ape Yacht Club | 80 | 75 |
| CryptoPunks | 65 | 70 |
| Azuki | 15 | 14.5 |
| Doodles | 10 | 11 |
| Moonbirds | 20 | 19.8 |
Step-by-Step Guide
Organize your NFT portfolio data with columns for 'Collection Name', 'Entry Price (ETH)', and 'Current Floor (ETH)'.
In a new column (e.g., 'Status'), for the first data row (row 2), enter the IF formula: `=IF(C2<B2, "Below Entry Price", "At or Above Entry Price")`.
Press Enter to see the result for the first collection.
Drag the fill handle (the small square at the bottom-right of the cell) down to apply the formula to all other NFT collections in your list.
